Rubel Event Management is owned and operated by Amy Rubel. Amy started her career in fundraising and later developed considerable expertise in planning non-profit special events. Amy has worked for some of New York City’s most prestigious arts organizations including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and New York City Center. Amy has also worked for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. During her tenure with these organizations, Amy organized lavish fundraising galas for 1000+ people, intimate dinners for 20, educational seminars, walk-a-thons, corporate honoree dinners and theater benefits. Shortly after planning her son’s bar mitzvah, Amy decided it was time to pursue her dream of starting her own event planning business and Rubel Event Management, LLC was born.
Amy has a degree in Music Management and Voice Performance from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. She resides in Maplewood, NJ with her husband, teenage son and their two dogs. She is an avid theater goer, a classically-trained lyric coloratura soprano, an amateur chef and an advocate for acts of kindness.
